As part of my personal exploration into community development, I created a comprehensive community strategy for a upcoming Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake. The plan draws inspiration from successful techniques used by Remedy Entertainment for Alan Wake 2, as well as community initiatives by other studios such as Naughty Dog and CD Projekt Red. It outlines a phased approach to audit existing Max Payne communities, define player personas, establish a noir‑inspired tone of voice, prepare shareable fankit assets, and set up a dedicated portal and Discord server (or subserver). The strategy also proposes events and contests to keep fans engaged, drawing on proven tactics like photo‑mode competitions, puzzle‑based giveaways and modding showcases.
This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Remedy Entertainment; it was created purely as a mock plan to demonstrate my ability to research, synthesize insights, and design community engagement strategies for my portfolio.
